In February, your main character accidentally overhears a crucial piece of information they were never meant to know. At first, they panic, unsure whether they should share this information with their friends or family. As days pass, your protagonist realizes that knowing this information is already impacting their life; it's changing how they see the conversations, actions, and even routines of the people around them. Write a story about what your main character decides to do with the important piece of information they now hold.

Stuck? Consider these starters:
How does your main character end up overhearing this information? How do they react upon learning it? Why were they never meant to know it? What makes sharing it feel difficult? Who would be most affected if this information was revealed?

Due to staffing shortages, FSF will unfortunately be unable to provide feedback on stories submitted this January.
